Earlier this week, Universal Orlando held the opening of their newest hotel: Cabana Bay Beach Resort. This resort is Universal's first value or moderate resort and is that way because of guest demand. This hotel will consist of 1800 rooms by the time the standard rooms and the rest of the family suites are open, which will be June 16th of this year. Let's take a look at some photos taken throughout the resort and how they celebrated the arrival of the first resort guests.
Overall, Cabana Bay Beach Resort brings you back to the 1960's. I think this will be a huge success for Universal as the rest of their hotels are extra pricey. Rates for the family suites begin at $174 per-night, and can run as low as $134 per-night depending on the length of stay. Rates for the standard guest rooms – which will be available this summer – begin at $119 per night, and can run as low as $93 per-night depending on the length of stay. We will be staying at the Cabana Bay Beach resort in the Summer and bringing many videos and photos to share and even more information on this resort, so stay tuned!
